This is the first experiment using fluid. Refraction and slower movement hugely alters the appearance, behaviour and sound of the balls.
There are new possibilities unfolding here with the potential of using more viscous liquids like clear vegetable glycerine for example to slow things down even further. The use of fluids (long term) bring about new problems that relate to corrosion of the stainless steel, the forming of air bubbles and organic growth which affect visual clarity - these problems can be overcome with more research and experimentation.
